It was revealed that if one wears the jeans too long, Skinny Pants Syndrome (SPS) begins to set in. SPS is when the jeans begin to cut off the circulation to the wearer's legs. This health risk was first revealed when Tawni Hart, along with both casts of So Random! and MacKenzie Falls, fell victim to the pants after they all wear them as part of a walk-a-thon against and for books. The only cure for SPS to have the pants immediately removed, usually by having them cut off. In a minor case, those stricken with SPS are told to wear more comfortable pants from then on. In a severe case, such as Tawni's, the cure for the victim is to wear clown pants.
